Overview

Hello.  So you've decided to learn how to draw a face.  I'm very proud of you.  What you will see below in the near future will be a step by step Unit lesson for "how to draw a face".  This will be mainly aimed at 8th grade students, since that is the age I teach.  It is an Art lesson.

The Teacher will be projecting most of these videos in the classroom during the demonstration and instruction part of my unit.

The students will be able to choose many forms of what you see here.
   Students can view these steps

  •    As a hard copy within a student packet.
  •    On a school ipad, ipod, or laptop.
  •    Or on a personal iPhone.
This allows students to decide which way to access the information will help them most.

My goal is to have a simple step by step procedure layed out for anyone to use.  The goals for this unit will be aligned with P21, Core standards, and NETs standards.  Each step will have downloads, links, and youtube videos to aide in drawing. There will be a student survey given both at the beginning and end of the unit to see how student confidence levels increase.  There will also be a Teacher design SLO rubric to aide in scoring a baseline and also a summative score to compare as evidence of student growth.

Plus I'll try to include a lot of really entertaining and goofy pictures.
